I really, really, really love this shrimp dish! It was a hit with the husband and with my sous vide class this past Saturday.
Steak is a big deal in my family. I'm pretty sure my dad would have disowned me if I had ever requested a well-done steak. My brother brought steak sauce into my house recently and I took it as an insult. I absolutely LOVE the precision of cooking a steak medium rare from edge to edge and serving it with confidence.
Amazingly quick, super easy, delicious, and a good fat (hello, keto friends)! Salmon is definitely one of my favorite things to cook sous vide.
Great class today at Burton Kimble Farm! In the next few days I'll post the recipes we used today and some sous vide tips.
Preparing for tomorrow's class means steak for lunch today! I'm not complaining. Recipes and instructions coming in a later post. Check classes to see what we have coming up and register.
I have been on this kick with my buttermilk brined chicken. I can't get enough of it! This week I was re-watching Salt Fat Acid Heat and remembered where the seed was planted. The wonderful, glorious Samin Nosrat! Here's how I made my Samin-inspired buttermilk chicken.
So... I have no picture because when I made this delicious cake Saturday, it didn't come out of the bundt pan nicely. Some of it didn't come out of the bundt pan at all! BUT! This cake is just too good to wait to share.
