Part of Keto is Preparation

I had a kitchen day today. Between breakfast and dinner, I prepared some food for this week’s lunches. It’s a good Sunday when I run the dishwasher twice!

We’ve both been in a salad mood, so I bought a box of spring greens. Today I cooked a chicken breast, chopped cucumber and yellow pepper, and pressure cooked some eggs (I might even write a post about that because they peel so beautifully out of the pressure cooker).

I’ve found that when I’m prepared — when I have plenty of keto-friendly foods in the fridge and ready to turn into a meal — I don’t stress about food. I’ve got a plan to keep to my macros and I’ve made it easy to stick to the plan. It doesn’t work out every week, but when it does, I’m pretty happy!
